The Club Joi Story

We started off in a little place in Beverly Hills with a small dance floor, 3 beds, and one toilet. We quickly moved to a much bigger place off Wilshire Blvd. where we grew into a real club. That’s where we started to develop a large following. When the space was rented out from underneath us by a big company we threw lifestyle events in a few places downtown before we found the building we are in now.(See the Venue page.) It has AC, separate rooms, and parking. Perfect! We are constantly trying to improve the club and hope it’s a comfortable place for you to enjoy your lifestyle.

Club Joi started gradually with 1 or 2 events a month. As membership grew we started having parties every Saturday. Next we tried Sunday swing parties that single males could attend. That did NOT work for us so we canceled them and no longer allow single men at any events. It made our members uncomfortable. Now we have only special Sunday events on holiday weekends. Next came Fridays. They started slowly but have grown to a fun and friendly 100-120 people every Friday. Wednesday is not a classic party night but we have events once or twice a month midweek. They are growing in popularity. Check the Calendar often or sign up to receive the newsletter to keep up to date.

We are still feel like a new swing club. Striving to get it right. Still trying to build up our membership. A recent survey said 20% of all married couples are swingers or have tried the lifestyle. In Los Angeles that means we have a potential of up to 2,000,000 swingers! We’re a long way from having that many members. The bigger the list, the more Lifestyle Parties we can throw so we’re hoping you’ll join us. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a club in Los Angeles with swing parties every night of the week? There is a lack of quality swingers clubs in Southern California. Club Joi is the only true swing club in the city of Los Angeles. California is loaded with swingers and Los Angeles is the biggest city, but New Couples interested in the Lifestyle have few had options in the past. There are many lifestyle groups and a variety of swingers clubs around Southern California but there is a deficiency in Los Angeles.

Freedom Acres is the biggest swing club in Southern California, but it is a long drive for Los Angeles residents and lacks the metropolitan feel. There are lifestyle/swing groups that meet in Hotels or regular bars and go upstairs or to another location for actual swing activities. Which is awkward for inexperienced swingers. Leaving new couples wondering if they will ever be bold enough to “go for it” in a well lit hotel room.

Of course house parties have always been used for swinging and lifestyle events, but they always end up with problems because of neighbors, parking, or the lack of a business license. L.A. Couples was a huge club and the only one with a swingers party every week in Los Angeles, but it closed down three years before Club Joi started. That was a major set back for Los Angeles swingers, and for the Lifestyle of Southern California. The Panther Palace was the longest running club in Southern California, but it closed down due to the owners health problems. Club Fuk, gone. The Kum Kum Club gone. Carnal Manor gone. Even the Lust Parties went broke and were bought by another club. Since we stared 8 swinger groups have opened and closed.

It’s very difficult for Swing Clubs in Southern California. Club Joi is trying to fulfill the appetite of the Los Angeles swingers , and vacationing lifestyle couples who are looking for a good swing party while in LA. Join the club, attend as often as possible, and help keep Los Angeles swinging.

Gentlemen! At least a collared shirt please. No one is impressed by a t-shirt no matter what it says or how much you paid for it.
No Shorts. No Sandals. No Baseball caps. No Sports Attire. No Ripped clothing(even if it’s made that way).

Ladies don’t really have a “dress code”. A big part of the fun is dressing in clothes so sexy you can’t wear them anywhere else! Feel free to use the lockers and change as often as you like.

Our Part: We provide condoms, wet wipes and towels in all play rooms for your convenience and protection.
All soft surfaces are sprayed heavily with Lysol before and after each event.
All hard surfaces(couches, tables, bar…) are cleaned with a strong commercial disinfectant.
Towels, bed covers, and table clothes are washed after each event.
Toilets are supplied with seat protectors. There’s a bidet in every ladies stall.
We have cleaning staff working during the event to keep things clean.

Your Part: Please put used towels in the laundry bins after use. Cups, wet wipes, condoms in the trash containers.
The physical stuff is obvious. Bathing is necessary. Washing between partners in encouraged. All toilets in the ladies room have a bidet.
Please limit your perfume or cologne. The smell of soap is sexier!
Please do NOT use bath towels to clean drink spills. Tell the janitor or use a floor towel from the bar area.

Please respect the privacy of your fellow members. Leave your camera at home and put your phone in a locker along with your other valuables.
It’s dark. You might drink. You may take your clothes off. It’s easy to loose things and no one will feel sorry for you if you loose your phone in the play rooms. Lock it up!

Our promotional pictures and videos were done at a FREE event. If we do it again you will be notified in advance. The event details will make it very clear that we will be filming and you will be asked to sign a release before entering. We will NEVER take pictures or video of you without your knowledge and consent.

It can be difficult enough for 4 swingers to agree to play together without the club getting in the way.

The Vanilla like dance areas can be to limiting for sexy swinger girls. Truly more fun than a regular club, but nowhere near as exciting as Joi.
